Welcome to Mob Force! A Minecraft remake of the popular video game "Broforce"







How can I play it?

When the game starts, the player is placed in a 2D world and is forced to move forward toward an unknown goal. The player one shots everything, but also gets killed instantly from everything. The player can toggle arrows coming out of their side using a map, which they right click to turn on and then right click to turn off. The player will receive slowness x4 when they have turned on the fire. 



How She Works



How does this map work you ask? Well let me tell you! 





2D World:

Using a 2D concept, and new 1.8 features, I can not only keep a player on a certain plain (length of the 2D world) I can also force the player to look a certain direction. Now put all this down in command blocks and spam the command over and over, the player will be able to move along the x-axis but not the y-axis. 



SHOOTING BADASS ARROWS OUT OF YOUR SIDE:

Now, I had a bit of trouble with this one at first. It wasn't the summoning of the arrows or added the slowness effects to the player; it was the toggling of the skill on and off. Right of the start I found that having the arrows coming out of your side the whole game was a bit over powered. This is where the slowness effect came in. When you activate the skill, the players FOV reduces as well as their speed. Now, after a bit of googling this and googling that I came across a thing called a latch gate. The latch gate is what makes the system work.

Other Things to Note:

At the moment the map has on single level, and is very small. It is more of a concept right now but is going to grow into a map soon!

How To Download and Install: 
1) After downloading you are going to open the .zip file and copy the file inside of it named MobForece 1.8 By: Halfro99
2) Run the minecraft launcher and press Edit Profile. 
3) Then Click Open Game Div. This should bring you to your /.minecraft folder. 
4) Find and open the folder named "saves" 
5) Paste the file you copied into there. 
6) Run minecraft and play map as if it were a world you had created!
