Hi all,
A new modern house series release. This time it's a church. My very first one actually. It's released in the same series as all others will be as it is a town building.
I wasn't inspired by anything particular for this one. It was first made out of bricks but I needed half blocks and there ain't any made of bricks.. So I changed it into a sandstone church.
This time I even added vegetation, it looks better like that.
The interiors are a mix of modern design with art features like always. The exterior aspect has modern architecture fetures mixed with gothic and victorian architecture.
The name was chosen until all finished. I thought it somehow looks like half the part of a colosseum.. at least for me.

I really have no words to describe the way i feel right now...
All i can say is that i +1 upvoted and broke my mouse clicking the favorite...
once again, and it's becoming really annoying these days, someone stole my work and claims it as its own.
So,
a guy posted Lumina to a guy on youtube making minecraft world save
submission vids. That guy/girl who claims lumina as it's own is called
'Heather' it seems.
What I want all those who are willing to help
me is to let a commentary on this youtube video telling that I made it
and not that heather. I don't ask you to downvote it ! Just thumb up my
own comment on there and those saying it was made by me please.

I know you have probably heard all this praise many many times over, as everyone seems to enjoy your work (except for your one hater a little while back =P ), but I just wanted to say how much I personally enjoy your creations (especially because I am working towards becoming an architect), and how much they have inspired me to create my own architectural designs in Minecraft. =)
One question: I am interested in your procedure - do you do any preliminary designing before you begin construction? Do you just start from the bottom up? Do you have ideas of what you want it to look like from the beginning?
I have never made any preliminary designing. Most of time it doesn't even end up being what I initially wanted to make. The church should have been an art gallery.. :| So ye, I just start my thing and the ideas come from alone.
I may make a little tutorial on the ways I work on my projects. I'll keep you updated here if and when I've done it :)
