Modular Cottage

I present the Modular Cottage.

Over the years playing Minecraft, I have built a version of this small house on just about every world and server I have played on. In order to keep the design fresh, I modified the layout each time. I have finally broken down each module into its own distinct section, and created structure files to make it easier to import into your world.

In case you want to build it out of your own chosen materials, I have also included a world save for you to browse example houses, built from the structure files. Simply replace the existing foundation, main structure, trim, and roofing materials for your own. Included in the world save is an example of a fully-furnished cottage.

In earlier versions of the game, I used netherrack in place of the campfire and hay bale. If you want to use netherrack in your build, it is safe to do so, because the fireplace is designed to be fire-spread safe.
