This is a Monastary I am working on, it is still far from finished though.
Have collected inspiration from varies building around the interwebz and im mixing it with my own touch.

As this is still very far from finished, I would very much appreciate any suggestions like changes of material, build something different, or compliments are of course welcome too :D
Will take a few days to finish though, so I will keep updating it.

We have decided to make Catacombs beneath the monastary as well, which means it will take a little extra time so bear with me :)

Also if anyone have any ingenious chandelier designs that they wish to share, please don't hessitate to poke me, if it is chosen credits will of course be given.

Thank you :) As I wrote somewhere, the world will be uploaded when the project is finished, I do not wish upload something unfinished.

We are currently working on interior designing, but the last few days no work has been done.

But I can almost promise that it will be done some time next week, just come back once in a while :)

about material, smooth stone, stone bricks and cobble stone combine very well together, also sandstone, glowstone and netherrack together can be a nice combination.



i hope this information was usefull, i use those 6 blocks alot for my little project :D

Thank you :) not to sound too boring I watched something on gothic churches on TV, but mostly I found a series of quite detailed pictures which Im using as "semi blueprints" meaning im not following it 100%, only using it to get the outlines and ideas, it is looking a lot like one of the pictures though which i've gotten most of my inspiration from.

The part of the church that has been built now, is only about 1/4th of the entire church, so keep following if you wanna see the result ;)

Will of course be uploading the world when it's done.

It seems very good, you seem to build a really good church like in the real world and not a bunker. If thou need more inspiration go check out my map Vanguard it also has a monastary, the church ain't good, but the rest is quite nice. I'm happy to upvote this promising project. :D keep it up!
