So I've taken a break from building Barad Dur as I'm thinking about redesigning it. In the meantime, I've started building some of the other landmarks you would see if you were simply walking through Mordor! In total, the map is roughly 4000x4000 blocks!

Update: So I decided that brown clay was totally boring and I should put more effort into making the terrain look more volcanic so I have begun re-texturing the whole place. I have also started Minas Morgul! Once the Secret Stair has been made and the caves to Shelobs lair, I can continue the mountain range all the way to the Black Gate and that will be a huge chunk of terrain finished!

Thanks dude! I've done the black gate already but haven't made the landscape around it yet. I'm trying to map everything out so it's more n less geographically accurate but when the area is roughly 4000x4000 blocks it takes some time!
