WIP Mount Everest Recreation
It is my goal to create the most realistic and accurate recreation of the Mount Everest Massif Possible. I have analyzed photos, videos, routes, and expidition logs to try and include every prominent feature of Mount Everest. The goal is a re-creation meaning not just taking the idea of Mount Everest being a very high mountain and making a very high mountain in Minecraft but actually creating the mountain to look the same as in real life. The entire Everest massif including all the mountains will be created.

Since Mt. Everset is 8848m tall, that divided by 10 is still not lower thatn 256, this wont be possible

Mt. Everest is not 8848m tall it is 8848m high. Since base camp is 5364m already, and my model is of Mt. Everest and not the entire country of Nepal, the build is 3484m tall. at a 1:10 scale that means 348 blocks, so the scale is still not small enough but it is very close. Also the build is not proportioned correctly due to lack of accurate 3d mapping in the everest region. I just have to go off my gut and try to include all the geological features of the mountain in approximately the correct place. For this project my main goal was an accurate recreation and my definition of accuracy, looking at all the other (Innacurate) Everest projects in existance, is just to get the geological features right.

Its at a 1:10 Scale so the 256 block height limit works out nicely.
