Mountwater was almost called underwater because it was going to be about an underwater base, but it shortly turned into a big creative world where you can find tall structures and towns, discover new regions, and play minigames.
3 years in the making bedrock version (OUT NOW)
⚠ WARNING: in the early trailer you can see the village looks very plain, in the updated versions we have fixed that there's more houses, farms and a new rollercoaster park as well. Which is why i cut it out of the video. Also that house you see at the end of the video has also been removed, some fences are missing, less lights, and so on. Expect a updated trailer that fixes this.
We do not bare any responsibility for the map being used on a cracked client, we have never promoted the map using this claim.
Mountwater is available in both Bedrock and Java editions. The core world is the same, but some regions are slightly different, thanks to technical changes and the new Java seed.
Java Edition (coming soon): Uses a new seed, which means there are new areas to explore. Some bases, houses, and regions may look a bit different. Because it was made after the Bedrock version and with tools like World Edit, there’s more room for creativity. The world is more spread out, with highways connecting builds, giving it a server-like vibe. (Works with Geyser, and no mods are needed just plugins.)
Bedrock Edition: This is the original version, built with its own mechanics and design choices. Regions are denser and more compact, and some mods like cars and motorcycles work better than Java’s plugin-based versions.
Both editions stay true to the spirit of Mountwater, and i reccomend you try both of them.
