My underground village, need ideas

Okey. ive got this running now in my base. And right now im working on a underground villager area with medieval buildings aso. Anyways. I need your guys opinion. As yo see in the images. there a hole up in the roof and the room itself looks kinda blast out and pretty rough. My question is if i should have it this rough or clean it up a little?

if still doing,
perhaps keep it all rugged like that, but have one main area, that is "build up and clean" like a shaft with stairs, (or it just the front of the cave is manmade carved, and then stops to nature took over

As villagers are extremely lazy and its the place, they should live, dont clean it up :D
