I have taken up the task of building an absolutely huge city, with almost all of the buildings built as awesome as I can possibly make them. This is a one-man job; I have had no help from this apart from the Too Many Items mod for some areas, such as places where a lot of glowstone and iron is used and a bit of feedback from some friends. It is built around a mob trap which uses water to flow mobs from all over the city to the center where they are drowned (sorry if this sounds a bit cruel) and the stuff they drop goes into a collection area. The place where this happens is underground and looks pretty damn awesome so far. Well, I think so anyway.

I am pleased with most of the stuff I have built so far, the exceptions being some of the older buildings in the north east of the city. Planned stuff to go into the town arena swimming pool/water park, two statues of different mobs in each quarter of the city, a church with a large graveyard and a Minecart station to for easy travel between the corners of the city (what I've built so far of this looks terrible).
