A more recent version along with custom textures for the train.
The Nebraska Zephyr was a streamlined passenger train for the Chicago Burlington and Quincy (CB&Q) Railroad that served between Chicago, Illinois; Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. Until 1968, the service was provided by the two Twin Cities Zephyr train sets "Train of the Goddesses" and "Train of the Gods" It was one of many services discontinued when Amtrak began operations in 1971. The Goddesses train set is in preservation at the Illinois Railway Museum.
The original Goddesses set had 7 cars:
Venus - Auxiliary Power Unit/cocktail lounge
Vesta and Minerva - 60 seat coaches
Psyche - 56 seat coach along with 16 seat dinette towards Ceres
Ceres - 32 seat dining car
Diana - 19 seat parlor car and a private drawing room
Juno - 24 seat observation car
In 1963 the CB&Q removed the cocktail lounge in Venus in favor of turning it into a 42 seated coach. Sometime before 1968 the cars Diana and Psyche were removed from the train. Just before the Nebraska Zephyr was brought to the Illinois Railway Museum on September 21. Which operates to date along with the last surviving EMD E5 locomotive, #9911A Silver Pilot
