This looks best in Sphax PureBDCraft 128x, which is the texture pack I used. It is lit by redstone torches, lava, and fire, to give a dark look and is made entirely out of nether brick and nether fence.
Nether On Surface includes the following "stations" for your use:
  • Enchanting Table
  • Crafting Table
  • Furnace
  • Chests
  • Jukebox
  • Bed

Yeah, it is pretty small, but I didn't spend a lot of time on this. The texture pack is Sphax PureBDCraft 128x.
