New Server Spawn! [Need Idea Help]

well im making a new spawn for my upcoming server, so far i got this done that you can see in the pictures. Basically my idea it; to have the pillars look like they are magically holding the sphere up.

What do i need help with? i basically need idea to make the sphere look like it been broken down a little and maybe match the way the floating island looks! i also need help with the pillars holding it up. i figured i could use beacons in it and also maybe ender crystals on each one. Any ideas would be great! thank you!

(also give me you opinions on what i have done so far)
