Oakhold is a medieval fantasy city in Minecraft, inspired by Thief & Elder Scrolls video games.

Required texture pack: Sphax PureDBcraft

Note:
1) There is a control room where you can adjust various settings for the city, such as fireworks and custom sounds. See control-room.txt for more information.
2) The city is completely functional in vanilla Minecraft, but OptiFine is highly recommended.
3) Most chests are empty.

This is honestly the best minecraft map I have ever downloaded. The attention to detail is absolutely incredible, and even after a year, I keep discovering new things that make the world even more worth exploring!

This is a super cool map! And OMG if you use the Conquest texture pack its just ahhhh! It's great! You did great with this build keep it up!

hope u add more beds for the guards/soldiers, u need more men to guard this incredible city.
Why do you use BDCraft? I find it extremely childish. I think certain resource packs would be better suited to this kind of build.

Thanks! :) There are ores, but the terrain was generated with WorldPainter in 1.7.5, so there won't be any ores that were added to Minecraft after that version, like granite, andesite or diorite.

edit: You can always go outside the valley and let Minecraft generate new terrain that has all the ores.

1.8. You could try to replace conflicting blocks with MCEdit, but I'm not sure if that would make it compatible with earlier versions. The terrain was created in 1.7.5.
