The Observatory of Rein
The observatory was originally built by the astronomers of Rein to observe the stars. Over time, a small settlement developed there, taking advantage of the region's rich resources. It is the Northernmost settlement in Rein, and is surrounded by a massive forest. The only way to reach the village is to travel by ship along the coast in the summer. The sea freezes over in the winter, forcing the villagers to beach their ship.
This build contains:
1 nordic village
1 logging camp
100 custom trees (every single one is unique)
1 observatory
2 guard towers
1 viking ship
This build was built over 1 week, about 4 hours of work. I mainly wished to build an observatory, and test out a method of making lots of custom trees quickly (it worked).
This build was also built to tie in with the Demons Build Team's upcoming adventure map, Jefe the Strangler (yes, named after me). It will feature a linear and leakproof campaign with several sidequests, custom item and mobs, and much more!

The only thing i don't love is the terrain-- it looks a little unnatural, if you ask me.
this is perfect for my LAN server.
