I was playing around with the new observer block and found out a way to make a 2 by 1 by 1 redstone clock.

I have made a few more machines with the obsever block and also a little bit of decoration.
Hope this is useful for some people.

(if you download the schematic it could be that the observer blocks don't update if that is the case just power the two commmandblocks in the last two pictures and the hole structure will be cloned south of the structure and the observerblocks in this structure will work.(that the observerblocks freeze when imported with a shematic might be a handy bug for making one way redstone blocks.))

I will describe what al the machines on the images are:
on the first you see the easiest way to build the observer clock linked to a bunch of redstone lamps.
on the next you see a hole bunch of the observer clocks stacked on top of each other which looks a little bit like a evil contraption of some sort.
next the output of the observer clock let it look like the dragon head is singing.
next by linking an observer clock to a powered rails it will slow down and stop(if no one pushes it) the minecart on it.
next I also found a way to fasten the tickspeed of the observer clock. by pushing one of the obser blocks with a piston against the other the tickspeed shortens.
next you can also change the size, shape and the number of outputs of the clock. so here is a square clock (it is a little slower)

next big square clock really slow with two short outputs every time the signal runs trough.

next piston floor (destroys sand if you put it on top of the pistons when powerd by the clock).

not all these contraptions has to be made with observer clocks I just made some more stuff with the observer clocks.
