In the area next to the lighthouse you could create a port and build ships in it. It would make the place seem more alive. Farther inland you could create a town with road leading to the previously mentioned port.
You could really do a lot of stuff in the world. On a different note, the ship in the last picture seems... empty. add some sails and a captains room at the back. It would also benefit from the use of different materials. It is still a great map. :)
