Introducing "One Chunk Skyblock" - a skyblock map with a twist that will take your Minecraft experience to new heights (and depths)! The map is just one chunk in size, but don't let its small size fool you. It's packed with excitement and challenges that will test your survival skills.
You start on a typical skyblock island, a small floating patch of land in the middle of the map (heightwise). From there, you must venture up above or down below to reach the two other islands, each with unique items to discover and use.
But the excitement doesn't stop there. When you make your way to the nether, you'll spawn on a floating nether island with dark void around you, located in the middle of the map (heightwise). From there, you must explore the other two nether islands in the nether chunk to find new resources. In nether you are also able to explore a small part of a nether fortress, which naturally spawns wither skeletons and blazes, making it an especially dangerous place to be.
Are you up for the challenge? "One Chunk Skyblock" is perfect for solo play or as a multiplayer challenge with friends.
Sometimes there might be several steps to achieve something, for example - How are you going to get obsidian to go to the nether? Knowledge and patience will be helpful!
Settings:
* I do recommend having low render distance when playing this map, so you need to be relatively close to see the other islands above and under you.
Good to know:
* This map is called "One Chunk", BUT it's actually just a 16x16 area (as big as a chunk), and contains two halves of two different chunks (the larger one being a slime chunk).
* When you join the map for the first time you will spawn on a sandstone block next to the skyblock island, this sandstone block is the WORLD SPAWN (The world spawn could not be on the starter island directly as it does not care about the Y level, and would spawn you on the top island instead of the start island). I recommend keeping this sandstone block (or replacing it with another block) until you can set a new spawnpoint with a bed.
* Almost all friendly and hostile mobs do spawn in the overworld (except the dragon, duh), but if you want mobs to spawn on the main island you might have to be on another Y level.
* The overworld is partly in a slime chunk, so slimes do spawn as well.
* Around the main island there are spots where the biome is changed to ocean biome, you will have to check F3 to find these spots.
* This map was originally made for the streamer OfficialSoftisFFS.
