You open your eyes, and find yourself in a cryogenic chamber, to make matters worse, you can't seem to remember anything related to your past...How did you end up in a place like this!?


Other Dimensions (BETA)

This map is not fully made yet, but I wanted to try some mechanics, play along with the new "Interactions" and displays, and learn how to use blockbench for future 3d models that I might add to my maps.

Besides, this is the experience I made just to make a different type of mechanics I've been doing and therefore learn more about commands, but probably none of the things that you are going to experience in this map will be actually included in the full version since is not what I was really trying to make.

A lot of new mechanics due to 1.21 are goint to be really insane and different. By the time I write this description, I can assure that the full version is under construction and I'm putting all my effort into it, it will have both languages (English and Spanish), really cool bosses, special items to play with, but most importantly: other dimensions.

Rules

  1. Don't change gamemode, it must be played in adventure mode.
  2. Don't try to glitch it, since I won't be updating this map, if you want to enjoy it I wouldn't recommend to glitch it.
  3. Use the custom resources (they should be added by default so this shouldn't be a problem)

Hoe-Lee-Frik! Let me start by saying you did the best job ever, amazing 100/10. First thing that caught my attention was the gameplay, it was smooth, very well paced, and highly enjoyable. The story was simple but executed to perfection, unique and original to me. As someone who loves the Stranger Things series, this game that you made gave me great vibes. Particles were pretty good and fit the themes. Sound design also fit very well. But the boss fight, now that was probably my favorite thing in this map. The combat systems are very good and easy to learn, use, and get good. This is the kind of game that would make for a great speedrun. To conclude, if I didn't know any better, I'd say that this map was made by an expert craftsman, someone who really spends time perfecting their creation. The commands you used were perfect and their use was well thought out. To be honest I am surprised this map doesn't yet have way more downloads.

I look forward to future content and the continuation of this masterpiece. If you need help developing, I would be more than happy to playtest or brainstorm with you on this project, or more to come, it's up to you.

Thanks a lot for the comment! I really appreciate that you liked the map, and yes, I spent a lot of time on perfecting this beta, I don't think I'm an expert tho, still learning a lot of things, most of the mechanics are pretty simple compared to what I was trying to do, still works but I'm not so happy with te result not gonna lie, I want to do it more ambitious on the final version.
Also thanks for the proposal of helping, but I think I will say no, I'm trying to do every map by myself because I don't think I will make lots of maps but maybe 2 or 3 more, I have more projects to focus on, and mapmaking is one of them by far, that's why I want things to be perfect, and again, thanks for the comment! c:
