The PCJ-200 was the Pacific Corporation's first attempt at a higher capacity and longer-range aircraft. Structural issues marred development and ultimately led into two different routes: a smaller version that would become the PCJ-200 and a wide-body, larger fuselage that would solve the structural issues of the initial design, as well as meet expectations of passenger capacity and range, taking the form of the PCJ-300, which would go into production first. While the PCJ-300 met Pacific's design goals, they did not abandon the PCJ-200, which has now become a niche-filling regional jet with significant improvements in capacity for regional routes and range for low traffic routes with longer travel distances, both of which are huge improvements on the previous PCJ-100. It can support a variety of configurations for different seat classes however is still restricted by its relatively thin interior. The total capacity of the aircraft is 3 flight crew and up to 30 passengers.
