Phong Krazine -
Sometime in the early 1900's an explorer from Vietnam named Phong Krazine set sail to the west looking in search for his lost family, that abandoned him on a boat in 1895. Phong grew up within the jungles of western Vietnam, and spent his whole life on the water, fishing and helping the village he lived in. During his 20's his foster parents told him about the disappearance of his parents when he was an infant. Shocked, Phong set sail on a small boat he called "The Windvine," across the ocean to the west, where he hoped his family would be, waiting for him.
Stranded -
In 1918 Phong's beloved Windvine crashed during a violent storm. He was stranded in the middle of the ocean, with only the remnants of his boat with him, along with a small ration of food and water. He spent weeks knotting together the pieces of the Windvine with the tangles of weeds that rarely floated by him.
After a few weeks, he had a fully functional raft. Although he had a safe shelter above the water, he could not survive long without food. Even to this day some say that the Windvine can be seen buried beneath the sand under Phong Krazine.
Development -
After 3 weeks of surviving off grain and plants he had packed for the trip, and one cooked fish, Phong was rescued by his foster parents, who had tracked the way he had come. Phong, ready to leave, was stopped by himself, wanted to stay with the raft he created. In Vietnam times were tough, and his country was in a depression. Phong believed the raft he had crafted could be a new beginning to his life, and many others. He recieved food, water, and supplies from his foster parents. Although they did not want him to stay out in the sea, they let him, in a hope for freedom. Phong spent the next 2 months preparing parts of the town, with homes, trades, and after many weeks, he successfully created a Windmill, from the wool of sheep back at his homeland.
People Arrive -
Once the town had a structure, and was suitible for multiple people, Phong decided next time his fosters come to his raft, he would ask them to bring people to the town, and hope for people with skills in arts, such as blacksmithing and more fisherman for food. After a few months, about 10 people had gone to the town. Although, nobody knew what to call the town. Many argued over what the towns future with relations to the government, and maybe selling out to them as well. Government would pay good trades for something that gave hope to people. Phong denied requests and stood solitary in his own town. Phong, during 1920 decided to name the town Phong Krazine, so people in the future could remember him and what he accomplished to bring the town to reality.
Current status -
Krazine is now a populated fishing town, with multiple fishing nets, boats, cots, butchers, and power. People come to Phong Krazine everyday, and the town slowly develops over time with all the new arrivals with the need for suitible environments. Phong Krazine died from an accident while fishing in his boat. A member of the fishing crew slipped on the floor, and knocked Krazine overboard. Krazine had suffered a minor concussion the day before, and drowned before he could be pulled up by his crew.
Phong Krazine is now a town that is being developed everyday. It is always worked on and kept up-to-date.
