The Pinnace
From Wikipedia :
"As a ship's boat the pinnace is a light boat, propelled by oars or sails, carried aboard merchant and war vessels in the Age of Sail to serve as a tender. The pinnace was usually rowed, and could be rigged with a sail for use in favorable winds. A pinnace would ferry passengers and mail, communicate between vessels, scout to sound anchorages, convey water and provisions, or carry armed sailors forcutting-out expeditions."
The Pinnace relay on wind as propeller and the particular form of sails and the dimensions of these compared to the ship allow it to travel even with adverse wind at an acceptable speed . As an airship the vessel must have something that keep it up or it will obviously fall and crash awkwardy on the ground , for this type of ship , very fast and agile , the rotors or turbines come very handy as they allow a rapid ascent or descent to the ship .
Texture Pack : Dokucraft light
The ispiration came from a game i played some years ago : Sid Meier's Pirates and so i started this project with the idea to transform the basic classes of ships of the game in airships , this is a small start but probably i'll keep ( slowly ) building other '600ish or '700ish steampunk airships .
This is my forst project , i've worked a lot on it trying again and again on different designs for sails and hulls so likes , favorites and diamonds are much appreciated ^^ thx !!! .

When i'll have some spare time i'll start to build the next airship probably a sloop or a barque .
