i found out today that i am hypophantasic which means i can't visualize things in my mind and its super weird to me that other people can see things in their heads??

its like if i told you that most people can see through solid objects. you can almost but not quite guess what it would be like

i know ive heard people say "close your eyes and visualize this" but i always thought that meant think about the object. but no? people can actually see things with their eyes closed?

sometimes i can see like shapes but theres no color or details. it is definitely better with my eyes open like just staring at a blank wall i can see a more refined shape and some colors thats why i have hypophantasia instead of aphantasia but still my mind is blown
