only one block wide. its the ultimate, cleanest way to do this. i will make a tutorial on how to do it if i get a couple comments asking to
update i found a more compact way.

Seems awesome. The super compact one is awesome. I just don't get how it works though to be completely honest. I made one similar to the first picture but I can't figure out how to get plates to work. I just went with levers. A schematic/video or at least an explanation would be greatly appreciated.

What I don't understand is how the bottom one get's powered. Unless pistons get powered in an entirely different way than dispensers, I'll have to investigate that when everything is updated. Or did you have an underground portion?
