I have built a player cannon that launches players up to 1000 blocks high. I know there might be better designs that I could of used but im not a redstone expert. I got the idea of doing this because most cannons have one block of tnt in each spot. So I replaced the tnt with repeaters then filled them up with tnt so I don't have to reload all the time.

more layers can easily be added to the cannon with some timing adjustments.
