I really don't know how exactly I came about this.. It started out as a completely different concept but slowly evolved into these contrasting mountains in these color schemes.. Originally, the idea was to recreate a more Norwegian terrain, but that really didn't happen, did it?

I should also mention.. This is my 100th upload. I have really enjoyed building and sharing my projects here on PMC, and will continue to share them as long as I enjoy it and you guys do as well.. So here's to another 100 more? :P

Here is an imgur album with higher-quality images: http://imgur.com/a/uxnSh

Anyways, as mentioned in the last post, I will be going on vacation, hence why I uploaded this today and not Tuesday.. Have fun those of you on Spring Break and have a Happy Easter everyone!

I will likely be branching into that soon, but I have enjoyed using a 512x512 terrain for so long because of the dimensions of a MC map (height being at 256) the larger terrains get, the more jumbled the perspective is.. I used to make terrains that were 1k up to 4k, but I really started to enjoy the amount of depth you can put into a 512x terrain
