Hello once again. This weeks terrain is entitled 'The Rumenhorns.' I got inspiration from a plethora of regions as to how I did this terrain; the most notable being:
Carpathian Mountains, Southern Alps, Mexico, and Ukraine. The name is derived from Austrian and Romanian

Thanks to Marc Watson from Mojang for the promotion: https://twitter.com/Marc_IRL/status/697408571093475328

So, on my last terrain I disabled the comments and promised an explanation as to why. The reason, certain people (I will not call out names, I am not here to start fights, simply to make a statement on the matter) felt it necessary to start drama, attempt to defame me, and plainly put, cross the line. A policy of mine for quite a long time now is to just delete hate comments or anything that I do not interpret as constructive. And so I did. And I will continue to do so.

The thing is, this behavior generally disturbs me, because it did not stop there. I will not go into detail, but this concerns me for the newer, younger builders who are just starting out here. I am completely capable of taking hate, and have a system for dealing with it. However, these newer builders I fear would not be able to. Being a community website, this is simply not the place for anything other than constructive criticism and positive reinforcement; though this should be true for much more than just PMC. This positive reinforcement and encouragement is what caused me to grow as a builder, and what pushes multitudes of builders forward. I urge all of you reading this to adopt an attitude like this, provided you already haven’t. It is simple- reward the good, and shed no light on the bad. Hate will only discourage and put negativity into a community in which it is unnecessary and proven to be a bad thing.

I really like your work and I wanted to subscribe to it, but is there a block on your subscriptions or profile page? And I was wondering what your process is for terraforming? Is it through would painter, or by hand, or worldedit? I really want to be able to terraform like this on a larger level for my rpg map.

I think this account was hacked. The person did not posted anything for years, and suddenly "updated" the links. When I saw I thought, wow, amazing work, but when I tried to follow the links to download the maps, I ended up on a maze of "spam links" redirecting you to all types of sites, from gambling to ali express and so on.

So, I would say that whatever is "updating" the links, is just scamming people.

That's my impression.

Just need to remember Velocity that you're not doing this to seek approval but for the fun of it. When someone gets negative just ignore it. "if you ignore it it goes away"
