Ponte di Pietra e Statua di Vittorio Emanuele I di Savoia
Designed by Claude-Joseph La Ramée Pertinchamp, the Stone Bridge was built at the behest of Napoleon I between 1810 and 1813 and became the main one in the city. It joins Piazza del Fiume to Piazza Gran Madre, in which the church of the same name towers.
In front of the steps of the Church of the Gran Madre di Dio stands the statue of Vittorio Emanuele I of Savoy, created in 1849 by Giuseppe Gaggini and then placed on a high base decorated with the coat of arms of Superga
