you can shoot portals anywhere BUT obsidian and glass!! YOU CAN'T SHOOT ON GLASS OR OBSIDIAN!!!! this is a modded version of my "portal ... sorta" vanilla minecraft map

emancipation grills don't wok due to issues with the mod
the video is of a WAY older version so yeah :/

Here are some tips:

1. Use your own custom texture pack
2. Use the config files to control what blocks you can place portals on
3. Create a unique storyline (that means no stealing mine)
4. Learn how to use command blocks, they can be used for a decent map
5. BOOBYTRAP THE DIAMOND BUTTON

In general, this map is a START. Follow those tips and you might be able to improve it. I'm willing to help you achieve this.

this was made for default texture pack and if I change the config files it'll only work for me because thats' how the mod comes by default I'd have to ask all of the downloaders to set those specific settings and it'll just be too annoying

Did you know that there are in-world config files as well? I believe you know how to locate the saves folder. Try opening up the save file, and in there should be some config files for the world only.

Like I said in a previous comment, I'm willing to help you achieve an improved map. :)

... i stole your idea? i swear i made this all up this is a fan-made map (me being the fan) with my own idea i appoligize for any stolen ideas and i'll be sure to remove any levels or conepts that are stolen from you

Oh no, thats not what I meant, what I meant was that when re-writing the storyline don't use mine. I did not mean that you had stolen mine, as about 90% of it is in drafts only. Sorry about the confusion.

i made this to be some-what like portal 1 (yes i have played and own both portal -still alive {portal 1 } and portal 2) because i started making this before portal 2 was released and i wanted it to be alot like it, with a very confusing beging but then the story eventually catches on, you get me?

I understand what your getting at.

Still, I wouldn't recommend basing it off portal, in fact, you could make your own interpretation of portal 3! (Yes I've played both portal and portal 2 as well, so I have figured out how hard it is to do so.)

Or of course, something that seems to be DLC for either portal or portal 2
