This is my version of a 'Post Mill', the earliest type of European windmill.
The mechanics of the mill are situated in the upper part of the mill, in the housing, which can turn a full 360 degrees around the pole on which it stands. Of course turning blocks can not be recreated in vanilla Minecraft, so the direction of the mill is static.
I'm quite pleased with this design. More windmill types will follow so subscribe for that!
