[Potential] Fallout server. [Need Help]

Hey guys, first of all I would like to personally thank you for checking out this project. I am posting this to see if the wonderful community of PlanetMinecraft would like tom help me. I am trying to make a fallout map for a server and I already have a few ideas for it.

  • I want it to be an endless wasteland that can be continuously traveled. I am looking for someone with TerrainControl (or any program that can make custom terrain and generate it. (Be able to generate a endless hilly and flat dirt wasteland and also generate dead trees and destroyed buildings.)) I tried at it myself but couldn't get it done. If you know how to do this kind of thing and don't mind helping me out, I would really appreciate it and could most definitely get you a staff position on the server. All map credit will go to you and anyone else that may have helped you along the way.
  • I would like some input on how to make the server work. (plugins, kits, etc.) Anything you guys have is always good to see and will help out a lot.
  • I will need a count on some people who like the idea and would play on the server. It will help me decide the max players and make it so I can give you guys a better experience.

I would love to help. I have noting better to do this summer. I can help with the building. If there is anything i can do i will help. I think its cool to see new servers become big. And I would love to start up a big fallout themed server.

All I can say is that I would love to have you on my server Legion. I just need a map for it and then i can get the server up. Thanks for all the replies and Hellmaster, I have tried world painter but i am not even close to good at it.

I could make you a map for the server, but I can't put buildings on it. We'll have to do that manually. It shouldn't be hard to do. I love building fallout type buildings and stuff. I could get on the server probably everyday and build buildings. I could also put trees and stuff all over the map. All you would have to do is give me the ip of the server. I was also thinking that maybe people could go beyond the cities and stuff and build their own towns or something. I could even put gas stations out in the middle of nowhere. Also, please tell me how to put a download link or something here.

Just send me the map and I will put out my IP. At the moment that is probably the best bet. Download your world save to a place like MediaFire. Then comment the link to it. Thanks a lot.

Oh, by the way, I was wondering if you wanted water on the map? Or just a completely dirt world? I could even change the water pools into lava pools.

I'm sure whatever you did is fine. I would rather have like 1 or 2 rivers and maybe 1 lake, but I know you already made the map so it's fine.

Look up a program called Worldpainter. I personally Just started a full recreation of Fallout 3. The Capital wasteland.

That's what I am using for my fallout map as well. It most likely won't be as good as yours, but I will try to make mine as good as possible. Anyways, as I was saying, I would love to help you out Thrash441.

Hello, I would like to help you create this server. I have been looking for a good fallout style server for about a year now, but I could never really find one. This sounds awesome and I would love to help out. I actually am making a fallout style map myself and am going to put it up on planet minecraft someday. People have said that I am a great builder. I love fallout and I would say that I am a great helper and very respectful. It would be a dream come true if I could at least be an admin on this server. I would try to be on everyday. Please, IM BEGGING YOU, please let me be an admin on this server. I could build buildings everyday that I am on. I just really want to help you out because this sounds amazing. Please, at least consider me being an admin. Thank you for taking the time to read this long...I guess you could say application.
