Praesidium is Latin for "protection," this fortress is protecting a small farming and trading village in the mountains. It features many towers, walls, and pathways as well as a tunnel leading up to a small citadel on the west mountain top. The village consists of a farming area in the valley and a pathway up to the trading/residential zone which contains some merchant stalls and a blacksmith's workplace. This project took several weeks at about 4 hours a week. This was done almost purely by hand, minimal world edit used. The surrounding terrain was world painter, but some of it was slightly modified by hand.

A fortress for sure, I took your advice, and looked this up. This is a quite dandy fantasy castle, looks wonderful. Can't get enough of a gage on the practicality of the castle, just looking at it right now, but, it doesn't look bad. I do notice a few flaws though, but it looks like you were going for grand not practical, so fantasy castle ho!
