well i run a local server using just the official Minecraft server software and the Hamachi Logmein network program. The server program is saved in a certain folder and it keeps all of its files in that folder. (that folder is wherever you go to open your server) and in that folder there is another folder named "world" and that is all of the world information. i just copied that folder and uploaded it.
