A real working TARDIS in Minecraft. At least in terms of the teleporting, that is. You'll have to figure out time travel on your own.
You can program up to 29 possible destinations into the command block matrix, and those locations can be selected from inside the console room.
Features:
Console Room - levers to select the destination, one button to check where you're going, and one button to go.
Non-Euclidean hallways - doors don't always take you where you might expect
Visual Effects - lights flicker and world goes wobbly during teleport
Sound Effects - If you use this resource pack you'll have all the nice TARDIS noises you would want
Exterior Teleportation - the phone box disappears from one place and shows up somewhere else; using the front door works exactly how you would expect it to
Respawning - to ensure the TARDIS is always loaded, it sets its center as the worldspawn; if you die you'll wake up just inside the front door. Can be changed if you would prefer a different respawn location.
Secret Destinations - Included in the 29 possible destinations are 5 that can only be reached by secret means, and one that is only visited when using the reset button.
Optional HUD Sidebar - all players can see where the TARDIS is, based on its location number. Can be disabled if you want it to be a secret
Reset Button - underneath the main console are a couple of rooms that help everything work smoothly, including a button that restarts everything if you screw up; it won't fix any problems caused by placing or removing blocks or by changing command block commands, but it'll at least restart all the under-the-hood functions
Flight Manual & Programming Guide - In-game books can be spawned, and I have a more in-depth programming guide as a blog thing as well.
To Do:
Other rooms - I currently have just the console room and some hallways, I'd like to add the library and some other rooms as well

Update #3 : by Bekalb 11/04/2015 9:22:41 pmNovember 5, 2015 @ 2:22 am UTC
Final bugfixing on the materialization circuit is complete, and I added a Flight Manual and Programming Guide as in-game books. A more detailed guide with pictures and commands you can actually copy is available here.
Next Update Goal: Additional Rooms. Might add that as a separate project though in case people want to build their own vision of the TARDIS interior.

Have something to say?
You can take my gratitude for actually making a legit TARDIS. :D
