Hello, I am looking for mapmakers/builders to come help with a mega project called project run 2
this map is going to be history in the making
What is Project Run?
Project Run is a collaborative map making project, that puts together the minds of lots of different map makers to make a parkour/game map. Each map maker or team receives a plot and builds in their 81x81 area, and then looks for approval for it to be completed. Each plot will be a part of a path to 1 of the 24 endings and should be around 3–5 minutes to complete.
How do I get a plot?
First put your idea in the ideas-forum this should include a concept and setting, the concept needs to work for multiple people at a time, and players should be able to join your plot at any point. Once approved, then put in a request in plot-requests and a staff member will approve and whitelist you if your name has already been put in whitelist, they will also send you your plot coordinates.
How do I work on my datapack on the server? And How do I get my plot approved?
You don't. If your plot has a datapack we recommend you build your plot in a singleplayer world, using the template world that can also be found in the github. You can there test your data pack. Once complete, you can use FAWE to move your plot build over. Then you may submit your plot in the plot-approval where we will approve and finalize your plot.
Other Notes
The server does have world edit
There is a chance your plot might not make it into the final cut, but if your plot isn't up to snuff, the staff will be giving feedback and recommendations on how to improve and help you out.
Do not set your own versions of checkpoints, there is a built-in one on the server
Include as few entities as possible, they are laggy.
