first off, i want to say that i looked at your other builds and i like what i see. however, if you want to be a better builder then i feel like you should listen to what criticism i have:
- as a community, many minecraft builders who build modern often forget that they are building a house for people to live in. we design impractical bathrooms, empty living rooms and endless hallways. what i think you need to work on is designing for people. this is something that takes practice. detailed decorating is a simple way to fix this, and adds a "personal touch" to a build.
- you are not limited to a single floor. while a ranch-style house can be appealing occasionally, multiple-story houses are typically more impressive, if you design them well.
- you are not limited to flat, monochrome exterior surfaces. many of your builds have flat roofs and smooth exterior walls. not every contemporary house has this. don't be afraid to use natural materials like stone or brick. these things have not become extinct. use them well with the clay blocks.
- speaking of monochrome surfaces, humans do not think in black and white. i understand white walls are common in contemporary houses, but i personally feel that more can be done. color is your friend. color sparks emotion and inspiration. use the colors of your blocks like a paintbrush, especially on the exterior.
as minecraft builders, we have the limitless ability to make a house any shape, color, size, or material. through experimentation and discovery you will find what works. i apologize if i come off as saying that your project sucks. i really don't think that. i enjoy your builds. i know they have a lot of potential.
that is all. have fun, and keep building my man.
sorry for my engilsh :P its not my first language.
