This post will be updated as the project progresses, growing in size and detail. Who knows maybe I'll end up redoing the entire thing.
Hobo Locomotive Works is the rail-based end of the multinational corporation Hobo Corp. Located within Hobo Yard, not far from Hobo Field, the Hobo Locomotive Works shop provides the Hobo Rail Network with the facilities and equipment to keep its rolling stock in top condition, providing everything from heavy repair jobs, such as tear-downs and complete rebuilds, to light routine maintenance.
The buildings of Hobo Yard are built in a style common of the late 19th, early 20th centuries in America, also reflected by any of the machines and locomotives within.

Update #3 : by Hobocat_15 02/14/2024 10:01:29 pmFeb 14th
Big update: total re-arrangement of the hobo shops with new buildings. Many, many more to come. Arrangement very well may change again in the near future as I figure out what to do with the buildings. Project nowhere near completion. There is a lot more that is not shown. All locomotives shown will have their own individual post made eventually.

It's been a while since I looked at a yard layout, but I'm surprised I can't find a reversing wye or turntable. Am I missing this, or are you considering it to be off plat?
The purpose of this is first and foremost, to provide a background for when I showcase my rolling stock builds (of which I have nearly 100 now), similar to my airbase which I will also post in full.
Much more soon to come, I am actually updating this post about 2 steps behind from what I actually have.
