About the Map:
Reveilla's Crest is part of a new challenge I am starting and taking part of called the 5 Device challenge. Essentially, map makers are encouraged to release maps using only 5 Devices in the World Machine software, not including a Height Output device. This is the result of 5 devices (Advanced Perlin -> Radial Grid -> Voronoi Noise -> Combiner -> Erosion). All in all, I think Reveilla's Crest took me about 4 hours to create including the trees in singleplayer. The foliage is just clever use of an Erosion flowmap output that I stuck into Photoshop and upped the contrast 3 or 4 times, then into World Painter to be used as a brush. Let me know what you think! :)
The map gallery contains several images of my favorite features. This is map was rendered in World Machine, ported to World Painter, and finalized on my private server. I HIGHLY suggest using Conquest 1.8 with this map as well as either TME Shaders or Conquest of the Sun shaders.
You may use this map for any purpose but I ask kindly that I am given proper credit - I have put a lot of time into this map and I would like your due diligence. All publications made by me are protected under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
