This is a project of mine to build a Skyrim style town/city. I love the architecture of the buildings in Skyrim, and along with Minecraft, Skyrim is my favorite game; so I decided to build my own buildings based off of Skyrim's style, but using my own imagination as well.
I thought of the name 'Ravenhold' taking inspiration from the names of Skyrim's holds and cities. I have named the palace 'Raven's Perch Palace', taking inspiration from the name 'Dragon's Reach' in Skyrim.

Originally I was gonna make a much bigger town, but I have run out of ideas for it. So it will serve more as a concept rather than a complete town.

Haha, I have the same problem! I always have to choose between Minecraft or Skyrim. Usually I play Minecraft, BUT, when I do play Skyrim I'm always just blown away and I truly get immersed in Skyrim to the point where I feel like I'm actually in the game. It's an amazing game no doubt.

Basically the main castle is inspired by a mix of Whiterun, Windhelm, Solitude and Riften; and the the two houses next to it are inspired mainly by Windhelm style houses. I have done interiors for all of them, although I need to update the world save for the interior of the 3rd building.
I am currently working on a Solitude-inspired house across from the second house. Then after that I will probably do a Riften-inspired house. Basically I'll probably have almost every style of Skyrim reflected in this build by the time it's done. None of the buildings are meant to be replicas of Skyrim, just buildings of my own design but heavily inspired and influenced by the architecture of Skyrim. So far I'm feeling pretty good about it.
