You wake up in warm, dark water. You look around and you see vines covering the walls around you. You jump, shocked of your new surroundings. Wait a minute. New? Is it new? You can't remember. You see stairs that lead out of the dark pool of water and, upon reaching the top of them, you see a path that takes you through a long temple with several arches covered in vines. You begin to walk through the tunnel, taking note of the torches, moss, and cobwebs lining the old, cracked brick. You reach the end of the tunnel and you see a large mirror on the wall. You touch your reflection, and suddenly a thought races through your mind--your name. In the midst of all of this confusion you can only remember your name. How did I get here? you think. You see yourself for what seems like the first time, you take in who you are, your new body o or what seems to be new bodyo ¦
"I don't know," you say aloud.
Your finger lay on your cold reflection, and you stare at your reflection, trying to remember how you got to this place. Your thoughts are interrupted when you feel your finger begin to slide through the mirror, as if it were made of liquid. You attempt to pull it back, but something is stopping you. A realization strikes you.
"Maybe Io m supposed to go through..." you say, accepting the force that gently pulls you through the mirror and allowing yourself to become completely submerged.
Lights flash wildly, and when they dim, you open your eyes. You breathe, you see, you smello ¦. You feel. You feel the giant stone structure that surrounds you, the structure that seemed to light up as if by magic when you arrived. There is only one opening, one way out, and you take that quick step. Bookshelves line the walls, and paintings, or what seems like paintings, sit against them. As you step closer, moving back the water coming from the once-shining structure, you see a desert, castle walls, a large gate-- you see people. No, that's not it. Orcs, maybe? You look around at more of the "paintings," and you see pictures of dark swampy places, pictures of walls built high, and pictures of a harbor, a harbor you can almost smell.
Ito s like looking through an open window, you think.
o Theyo re portals.o A man startles you with his deep voice, sending you back and almost knocking one of these o portalso over. The man waves his hand to a green painting.
o See this? If you step through youo d be entering the great jungle of Keia. Hah, of course I wouldno t do that if I were you. You couldno t fight off even one of those werewolves with no weapons, and do you call that potato sack of yours armor?o he bellowed.
You look down at the brown shaggy clothing youo ve yet to take notice to.
o Io m Vince and Io ll be your guide today. Dono t be scared o We all understand the shock youo re in and the questions you have.o He said in a stern but concerned voice. o Youo re still wet from arriving through the templeo ¦ Leto s get you into some clothes and next to a fire o Youo re hungry I suppose?o You hesitate, but your stomach gives in, forcing you to nod.
o They always are. They must not feed you where you come from.o
Vince explains all that you wanted to know. You catch tales of war, betrayal, broken treaties and angels. So many angels were running in panic... Your mind goes back to one of the tales he told.
"A long time ago in this land, there was a thousand year treaty between all kingdoms. The people flourished and the kingdoms were filled with peace, but of course such peace doesn't last forever. The treaty was broken 50 years in, by a corrupted angel, now known as Blare. Wars broke out, and thousands of people died with each passing day. The angels came fourth vowing to make things better and return the lives that where lost, and this is where you come in. You are one of many that lost their life in this war, but the angels were able to bring you and many others back, 1000 years after the war, using an ancient temple and a once forbidden ceremony. Everyone you knew or loved is gone, but the angels spared you the painful memories, so that explains why you can't remember anything."
Humans. They are exceptionally good at divination. They crave forbidden knowledge. They worship an organized pantheon of gods and goddesses. The god of strength is especially important to them. They run a Monarch like Democracy. In result of his power, their King who goes by the Red king, believes he owns all of RedCross
Dwarfs. Dusky skinned and dark haired. Famous for their banks. They are naturally good at weather and fire magic. They dislike wearing clothing. Their government is a representative democracy that is inefficient. They barely control a grassland kingdom that has been devastated by war, forcing them underground. All of their land is not their own, belonging to Liria.
Elves. Fare haired and warm eyed, they can see in the dark. They are extremely intelligent and mainly atheist. Known for their medicine and alchemy. They are especially good in elemental magic, having potions to make trees grow 30x in size, concluding why they live in one. Their government is a dictator ship, ran by the most skillful alchemist who goes by the Queen of nature. The Gods have abandoned the Elves for their ignorance. But play and tease them when looking for entertainment - driving some Elves insane.
Centaurs. In their culture cooking is a highly prized ability. They are well known for their music and rich cuisine. They are governmenless, living off the outskirts of Liria under the Red Kings rule, who doesn't tax them, due to their royalty in wars.They seem to have a special purpose in the world. They live in scattered camps around Liria.

GAMEPLAY

When you join RedCross, read the signs at temple spawn. When you choose a race o we weary that it is a onetime decision. Choose wisely, contact an admin to have your title set to your chosen race. When finished at spawn, a warp will lead you to RedSky Harbor. You may begin in the Frontier, collecting supplies, sell the supplies, make money, and buy a plot in RedCross to begin. Speak in Role play, act as your character would. Non-medieval builds and land greifing can result in permanent banishment from the world of RedCross. Please respect others builds. The use of black magic is prohibited and will result in banishment without warning. (Fly mod, X-ray, X-ray packs, ore finders etc.)

The first thing to do when joining a RP server is to read the Lore; we made ours shorter than normal Loreo s for your convenience.
