Redstone Sequencial Combo Lock - Version 1
About:
Everything you see here is made off of my pure knowledge.
First off in the creation, you walk into a hallway, step on a stone pressure-pad, which then opens the door, and scrambles the key to the code. The code is the colored wool that are from the right, moving left. When you are done, you then walk through two sets of doors, the first just opening a door, the second stopping the scrambling, yet opening the door to the room where you type in the code.
You must type the code in the right order as from in the key. As soon as you type one code wrong, expect to die! Lava drops down from above. If you type the combo right, the door will open, and there will be a reset button. I recommend pushing the button right when you get through the door, and every time you fail!
Feedback:
I did spent time making this, yet I won't nag you guys for a diamond because half of you might think this is lame (but you guys don't mean that). I understand everything I did, which that knowledge will be used to make this project to do a lot more then what it does, and simpler. Comment if you have an idea.
Fun facts:
- I used a lot of RSNOR Latches in this creation. Exactly six, which seems a lot since there are (probably) other ways to build this without them.
- There were four pistons used when you type in the code. That does not include the four pistons that are used to dump lava on you, and the eight that scramble the code. :P
- Most people would of guessed this, but there was a five-clock used for the scrambling of the key to the code. Yet, and RSNOR Latch is attached to it to turn it on and off when you walk through the two doors.
- The reset button was the easiest part when creating the room where you enter the combo. When pressed, it simply powers the opposite end of five RSNOR Latches to set them to the on position. This does work, and isn't buggy! :D
- This is a prototype. This was the first time I made something like this, and I have found ways to make it half the size as shown in the pictures!
Hope you like it! :D
