About:
My goal is to make Minecraft's most compact redstone calculator ever. It will be able to add numbers 0 to 9, subtract numbers 0 to 9 (with negative), multiply numbers 0 to 9, and possibly divide numbers 0 - 9.

For those who are wondering, everything in white has to do with adding or subtracting. The various colors of wool are just numbers. From left to right, they are 1, 2, 3, ... 8, 9, 0. The dark blue wool is everything that has to do with binary numbers. The brown has to do with switching digits. Dark green (lastly) has to do with switching between adding and subtracting.

The multiplication part of redstone will end up under all the random colored wool. The converter between binary and a 7 segment display will be right above the white bundle of wool.

Have you seen something more compact then this?

Then first check if the calculator can do the following:
  • Add numbers 0 to 9
  • Subtract numbers 0 to 9
  • Give a negative number answer
  • Automatically save the digit then switch the place holder (first or second number in the problem)
  • Convert automatically from single numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.) to binary (1, 2, 4, 8 etc.) and NOT

If they all do that, then please tell me about it. I am really interested in learning to do better.

As much as all redstone mods are cool, I like default redstone! I find it more fun to build with, more challenges to make it compact, and in general, amazing!
