Repeater BUDs

Because pistons either need to be powered from diagonally above (which would not allow you to make a BUD in the floor) or temporary need to be prohibited to extend with another piston (which would lead to a larger circuit). A better alternative for a BUD which can be placed in the floor are the ones that make use of the repeater powering glitch.

The glass represents the floor and the red wool is the block from which updates will be detected.

The normal repeater BUD is 2W x 4L x 3H and needs:

• 2 redstone dust
  
• 2 restone torches
  
• 1 repeater
  
• 1 sticky piston
  
• 7 normal blocks
  
  

In comparison to it a also made a BUD using the extension prohibition (which makes more noise because it has more pistons), which is 2W x 5L x 4H and needs:

• 5 redstone dust
  
• 3 restone torches
  
• 2 repeater
  
• 1 sticky piston
  
• 1 normal piston
  
• 11 normal blocks
  
• 1 glowstone block
  
  

The toggeable repeater BUD is 4W x 4L x 3H and needs:

• 5 redstone dust
  
• 2 restone torches
  
• 1 repeater
  
• 1 sticky piston
  
• 11 normal blocks
