When I was a kid, there were two things that I loved most: Minecraft and the 2006 film "Poseidon". I spent years and years trying to build the perfect model, but it often never went far. Now, after playing Minecraft again 4 years ago and some 5 previous attempts later, this is perhaps the best Poseidon I will ever build. Why build it again and again? Because I absolutely love this ship's exterior and interior design. Aesthetically, the exterior reminds me of Populuxe and Googie architecture from the 50s and 60s. Very futuristic and space-age, and rightfully so, since the film takes place in the future. The interior feels more old-fashioned and vintage which, although quite different from its space-age exterior design, pairs well together.
Currently, the exterior of my model is pretty much done. I've remodeled it heavily, and some small things may change here and there, but I'm more than happy with it. I'm currently working on the interior rooms of the ship. I have the main rooms completed, as well as most of the cabins. The only spaces left is the dining room, nightclub, galley, theatre, and some other small rooms.
The signature feature about my Poseidon is that it is probably the most movie accurate model ever made. I've spent countless days watching movie scenes, peering into windows, digging up behind the scenes footage, watching deleted scenes, and even managing to find official deck plans of the ship! If you are looking for the most film accurate model, then look no further.

The ship has gone through so many changes and updates I can't possibly name them all, but here are the biggest updates. She is so close to being completed enough to release, I'm hoping by the end of the year!
- Remodeled the bow superstructure. I added the small walkway that wraps around the structure Infront of the glass as it appears in the film.
- Remodeled the stern superstructure. The dome now has a more rounded, smoother and cleaner appearance than the previous one.
- Remodeled the bridge. Made the center bridge area more sloped and added the roof overhangs on the side wings.
- Renovated the bridge interior to make it more detailed and movie accurate.
- Remodeled the stern deck and indoor pool.
- Added all the balcony and hull cabins in the ship (except for the deluxe suites near the bottom).
- Added support pillars to the glass to match film appearance.
- Made improvements and added lighting to the ballroom and lobby.
- Remodeled the bow cranes and equipment.
- Added end-rod lighting to the funnel (inspired by REVENOUS).
- More movie accurate lighting changes.
- Added nautical flags to ship pool and stern.
- Most of the ships deck plan is laid out, now it just needs to be built!
