This is my 1:1 scale reconstruction of the temple of venus and roma as it would of appeared after its remodel by emperor Maxentius in 310 a.d. This was the largest temple ever built in ancient rome and it was one of the biggest in the entire empire only superseded by the temples at baalbek. this temple was built at the very height of romes power by emperor hadrian who actualy made the design for the temple himself. The temple was destroyed in the 9th century by an earthquake and its in ruins next to the Colosseum where parts were made into a church..Since a few other people have already made the hadrian version i decided to go where nobody as far as i know of has gone and build the heavily remodeled version.
this was rebuilt in 2016 after i replaced the original 1 that had been built in 2014 or 15 it was one of the last major ps3 builds before it was ported over
