This map started out as a private server (which it still is) for me and my bf. I once promised my bf I would make a castle for him; RoseRed Castle is the result of this promise. It turned out to be quite awesome, so I decided to share it with the world. The map isn't really 100% done, the castle is "finished" but I still got a lot of ideas to add to it. A big part of it lies underground; the swimming pools (with a gigantic cave) and the prison. There are a few things you should really check out; The Hall of Thrones, The Cave Of Life, The Dining Hall and The Starry Sky.

I made the map in the John Smith Texture pack, so I guess for the best experience you should download that one.

Also, the servants have a terrible fear of nights, altough there are no monsters.

Added a picture of the castle with a shader

It is based on a style called Fairy Tale style used around 1800, having less of the medieval fortress and more comfort for the one living there. A bit like Versailles.

And I didn't have another name to call it by, it isn't a house or mansion, viewing the fact it has a prison and thrones. Castle comes closests to it I think.

Nice job! Eliminate some of the right angles, add something that is a bit different when it comes to angles! Otherwise, amazing!

It is a little stiff indeed, but I am not good at building round when it is above the ground

I will make sure the library, stables, barracks and kitchens are a lot less square

If you have trouble finding the Castle, it is in the upperleft corner, in the snow biome. If you open the map you should see it.
