Welcome to Sandrift!

Sandrift is my town on the 1.21.8 survival server EarthMC, a thriving community built on cooperation, creativity, and steady growth. The town is divided into several distinct regions, each with its own character:

Downtown Sandrift — the heart of the town, filled with shops, public buildings, landmarks, and major infrastructure.
The Eastern, Southern, and Northern Suburbs — calm residential districts with player-built homes, gardens, and small local builds.
The Western Urban Zone — a more densely developed area featuring apartments, multi-story structures, and newer expansions.


History: Sandrift was founded on May 10th, 2025 by blacknightowl. As the original founder, he established the early layout and identity of the town. A few weeks after this, Xmanclub became the town's councilor, he made the first buildings but then got 42'd in June 2025. However, in June 2025, blacknightowl decided to quit EarthMC, and because of this, the town needed a new leader. After he left, Sandrift was transferred to another player, who built both the castle and the spawn area, adding major early structures to the town. A few months later, in September 2025, that player stepped down as mayor and passed leadership to giantbananas around September 9th, 2025. Soon after, giantbananas chose not to continue being mayor and handed the town over to me, marking the first major turning point in Sandrift’s modern history. I officially became mayor on September 9th, 2025. Over this time, I was moving my stuff from the old town I resided in, which was Astoria. The move took me a few hours. And once I was done, I logged off, hoping to start my recruiting job on September 10th, 2025. This was when I got my first resident, called Xuxu7. He built a house near southern Sandrift and is one of the most historical buildings in the entire town. Since he quit EarthMC on the same day, his stuff got taken by the mayor. Over the next few weeks, I recruited more. This was when I got more res. I started giving them apartments, which were located in the castle, and I used the Flint to create more rooms for residents to live in. One notable resident, Nathanhi1, became a councilor around September 13th, 2025. He was given an apartment. However, on September 14th, 2025, he quit. Within the next few days, me and RIP1C were trying to make the town better for all the residents. I made a donation hopper at spawn, as well as a tiny buy shop upstairs in the castle where players can sell their gold crates, giant gold crates, and mystery crates to me. After days of recruiting I managed to get the most important resident of Sandrift, whose name is thePopcornPirate, on September 22, 2025. After looting a room in the town full of carpets, it was given to this person. This would later turn into a giant stone brick house with multiple floors. After a few days, I assumed that thePopcornPirate was a good Sandrift helper. He became the first permanent councilor of the town, and then kept working on his house afterwards. In the last couple weeks of september, I gathered more residents, who started building homes around central Sandrift. These include residents like Alizzar, Automatic, and others. In early october, a person named Human_369 joined the town. He started building a wooden & stone house of which would be transferred to dano1027 and then to hielluosymp. A week later, on October 9th, 2025, two players, F0xer98 and SilverKiler342, joined the town. SilverKiller replaced the bland deepslate house with a modern, sleek wooden house, as well as a bunker that BlueWolf360 used to own. F0xer98 started replacing the farm that gravedirt made with a stone house. He also made a storage room, and a top floor. 3 days later, on October 12th, 2025, he invited his friend p0ox. He was given a plot that Drowing_Water used to own. The plot Drowing made looked similar to booweno's. He replaced it with a small tall spruce garden. A few days later after this, a person named PaintahNH joined the town, along with AidenNoah. These two players both had a good time in sandrift, but AidenNoah made the decision to leave. Several hours later, Paintah became such a good helper that he became one of the town's councilors. He helped start the development of eastern Sandrift. The day after, a group containing ElPopcorn, TwangyDay, AdrianHES, and KolliasG joined. I gave them plots in east sandrift, which helped urbanize the area. Adrian and Popcorn's houses were both merged. KolliasG was given a house that would later be given to another resident. Then, some time after this, a player called Blgreen joined, as well as Kathln. These two players were given plots. Blgreen made an underground shop while Kathln made a mine. After Kathln quit, Blgreen rejoined several times, working on the shop. Some time after, a player named Maxwell_cat999 joined. He was given a house and also was given town trust to build a road in the eastern part of Sandrift. A big time in history started when GrayMold9 joined the town in late October 2025. He was given the plot of an old resident which would later turn into a storage comapany called Gray Exports HQ. Wolfminer33 also joined, acting as a worker for GrayMold9. Several other residents, like pancake_waffl3s, Macaroniman, and others were recruited by GrayMold9. When GrayMold9 recruited SkyLoard_ to the town, he was given a big area in northern Sandrift. He made a sugar cane farm, storage, and enchanted table center. Several days after, GrayMold9 added bobbyjoe47 to the town. He also worked for GrayMold9, like Wolfminer33 did. GrayMold9 and Wolfminer33 became the town councilors, making it a better place. He also improved a church that Enoch01 made in the north. Additionally, 3 players, Marques067, moldycoffeecup, and Flamin_14 all joined the town at the same time. moldycoffeecup left some time after this. Marques067 was given KolliasG's plot. He also left for a while, rejoined again, but then he left again for long because he got cancer. Flamin_14 was building his house in east Sandrift. It had one floor originally. but then later a second floor was built. Flamin started asking for a lot of materials to make his house, and I did it for him. After bobbyjoe47 finished working for GrayMold9 in Sandrift, he and GrayMold left to create Banff. Over the next few days, SkyLoard_ and Wolfminer33 were acting as town police, guarding the walls, until in the first few days of November 2025, I accidentally killed one of SkyLoard_'s villagers. He demanded for 500g but I refused it. Because of that, SkyLoard_ was kicked from Sandrift, marking another big time in the town's history. Because of that, SkyLoard_ made more residents of Sandrift leave, with Wolfminer33 trying to fight against him. He entered the town several times, so I tried lava bucketing him. He also disliked Wolfminer33. Because of Flamin_14, Maxwell_cat999 made the decision to leave sandrift. He was saying that Flamin kept stealing stuff from his chests. A couple days after this conflict happened, a person named MillionaireIan joined Sandrift. The plot give to him was in eastern Sandrift. It was a mansion, and he also started building a mall next to the mansion. He was becoming an active helper for the town over time, and was given councilor rank some time later. Another notable person that joined was DrawnFungus7762. He joined a few days after Ian did. He was given TwangyDay's house and improved it. He also made donations to the town in order to expand. Additionally, he started to destroy the walls around due to these reasons. In early November 2025, two players. djbowli and ThrownAxis, joined. They both built wonderful houses in west & north Sandrift. However, a few days later, djbowli's stuff got stolen. At this point, he started to rage and started hating on me. Several minutes after this, he left the town and got outlawed. ThrownAxis agreed with djbowli and also left the town. Another person in Sandrift is 14xyz, he tried to sell resident houses, claim them, and then start destroying them. He was outlawed for a little while, and then got unoutlawed. He also promised to never do it again. Another trio that joined around November 9, 2025 was guythechicken123, ChargedRazor, and GamerBoy2014493. guythechicken was given a plot but didnt build on it then leave. The other two players were making their houses in their plots. Then, they both logged off. A few days after, one of the oldest residents in all of Sandrift, named Nathanhi1, returned. He had gotten 42'd, so he rejoined the town and was given a new plot. This was also when Baldassaro joined. He found that the town was bad because he found that there was a wither rose trap in his plot. Flamin_14 recruited JordynNZ to the town. Some time after the resident was given his plot, he made the decision to quit the server and got warned for putting the n-word on sign. So, Flamin_14 recruited a new player, AltoFox7, he was given JordynNZ's plot, and was revising it. He was also giving out cakes to the residents of Sandrift. He was also helping out members in the town (including offering loans). On November 15, 2025, a group of 3 players, Astroslayer3000, Copper_Golem, and turtlelol1235 joined. During the first few hours, these 3 players were mainly hanging out in Sandrift, working in their plots, and doing their stuff. Copper_Golem logged off some time after, leaving only Astroslayer and turtlelol left. turtlelol was given the plot of an old resident. He also left for a bit then rejoined. Then, me and Astroslayer were declaring war againt a town named KettleBurg, which was ruled by notmusa_1. We marched there from /n spawn ethiopia then returned back. We also did a second attack on them but it failed since an outlaw named djbowli entered the town on the same day. I was trying to kill him with lava, and thePopcornPirate as well as Flamin_14 were trying to trap him. After djbowli saw his traps, he reacted. DarkBeaux also entered the town that same time. Flamin_14 killed him once but then he returned with fire res (which djbowli also had), making them unkillable. After some time, djbowli left, leaving only DarkBeaux. He also left after some time, and the conflict ended. On November 16, 2025, two players named SRRGR and itsdragonhere joined. SRRGR was given Austronic's plot but then left. As for itsdragonhere, he was given KR0MEKK's plot, which was located next to aliwho's plot. After that he left, marking the most recent point of time in Sandrift history. Since then, I have been leading the town for over 2 months — and will continue to do so until May 1st, 2026. During this period, Sandrift has grown dramatically, becoming one of the most welcoming, active, and community-driven towns in the region. I have recruited heavily, helping Sandrift’s population reach a remarkable 140 residents. Many of the town’s most iconic structures — including Sky City, our floating district — were created by our talented councilor: thePopcornPirate. Flamin_14, MillionaireIan, DrawnFungus7762, and Blgreen also made contributions like a mall, an underground shop, skyscrapers, etc. Their work shaped the skyline and gave the town its unique identity. Other additions, such as the copper golem statue (which was made by _AS2014), numerous houses, local parks, and creative builds, were proudly made by our non-council residents. Sandrift would not be the same without the contribution of every citizen who has helped the town grow. Sandrift is part of the nation of Cascadia, which has existed since July 13th, 2022. Today, the town continues to flourish within this long-established nation.
