The Sceptilx-class was a light carrier designed by Datopala Industrial and Syvatii Unlimited for GACIAF only a decade before the first Ivesceel Shadow Fleet attacks. Intended to add a small amount of fighter support to patrol groups and isolated bases without a typical light carrier, the Sceptilx-class was the smallest carrier that GACIAF had used in some time, due to the Xexon line of advanced strike craft initially needing more space in hangars for technicians and crews. The Sceptilx had six attachment points able to accommodate, using adjustable clamps and docking connections, any Xexon class in active service or development. Although only half the standard wing size for GACIAF, this was sufficient as a supplement to the single wing that typical patrol groups had access to, and due to the size and simplicity of the Sceptilx multiple of the class could be deployed for less cost than a full light carrier. Additionally, the Sceptilx-class had two flak cannons, five anti-fighter laser cannons, and 16 point defense cannons, adding a significant amount of screening strength to a small naval force. Eight Lezekka CorT3/SU510 light laser cannons gave the Sceptilx-class some ability to fend off corvettes and other light capital ships, as well as disable commercial and civilian ships, although the carrier would rarely be used in direct combat.
