Mystic Mountains (Contest Entry)

The Mystic Mountains, a mythic, medieval themed survival games map being made for the Planet Minecraft Survival Games Arena Contest. It includes a nice, centered cornucopia, challenging, but rewarding scavenger hunt, custom terrain, custom forests, buildings, traps, chests, villages, custom forests, 4 enchantment tables, and more!

Story line: Mystic mountain was once home to a few Minecraftian families. Though, the families were all special in their own way. They could do things other players couldn't, like instant mine, run at sonic speeds, and kill things on demand. Mystic Mountain had a special force that could disable their powers in a 250 block radius. The king didn't want the magical families to form a magical army, and take over the throne, so he discarded them at the base of Mystic Mountain, where there powers were rendered useless. They were kept in by huge, magical, crystal walls, that on touch, would damage them, and forced to work in the mines, and extract oil from the desert. One day, the mage Herobrine who lived in the mage tower discovered a potion so powerful, it could get them out of their crystal prison. The families started to prepare for their escape, setting up quartz scout homes on top of the other mountains, creating two watch towers, and setting up death traps all around the mountain for protection. Eventually though, the families turned into insane war enraged monsters, and started to kill eachother off. In the end, the only person left was the mage, Herobrine. He was able to escape, but no one has officially seen him since. The Survival Game Makers decided the location was superb for the next Survival Games.
