A few years ago, I had a dream in a forest that looked much like this. Over the past few years, I've tried numerous times to get the right feel for the forest, and I think this is finally it. Rocky terrain, dense underbrush, falling trees, with rivers and lakes that glowed in the dark.


Every single tree is handcrafted and 100% original.
There has been no copy and paste. While making this has been a massive pain, it is extremely rewarding to stand back and look.

My plan for this forest is a small barrier around the spawn of the server. The spawn is a small village on an 'island' between rivers. There is this small forest on the other side of the river with several paths through it before a player can start playing in the real world.

Upcoming additions will include:
  • A more rugged area with more hilly terrain
  • Ruins of houses
  • Renders and/or pictures with shaders

 I really like this; one of my favorite parts is the fallen trees, it really adds to the whole thing!

Thank you! I have to be sure to add more fallen trees, the one there on the lake adds to it I think. I am planning on adding some house ruins as well.

That would make this this amazing map even better, also the ruined houses would be a great addition to this map!
