I can finally present to you:

Shantus Karloon - The Primed Island

This project has been the recent focus of my mind, spending over 50 hours over 2 weeks. Due to confusion with teams i started 2 weeks later than the arrival of the contest. This, I feel has cost me dearly meaning i had to rush heavily towards the end. This project, as most of mine are, was built almost 100% solo, with help from a couple of friends towards the end.

Lore

It's mid World War Two, and Germany have recently declared war on the USA. In the mid-pacific appears and island, found by the Americans. This island is rich in Uranium, the perfect fuel for both Nuclear power stations and Nuclear bombs. The Americans sought this as the perfect opportunity to crush the Germans and their alliances. A very select amount of people are chosen to migrate there, based on their skills and work ethics etc. These included scientists, to research further into Uranium and nuclear power/ bombs, expert miners to carefully extract the uranium from the ground, and specialist nuclear power workers to safely make power out of the radioactive material. Each of these areas of work have their own buildings, soon to be connected by a new nuclear powered train service, currently being researched. This prime island was named Shantus Karloon, after the man himself who found it.
